Rechargeable LED Inspection Lights, Under a Tenner

Most of us in the motor trade have probably lost an inspection light once, twice or probably more times than we can remember. And we’ve probably found one or two in an engine bay or underneath a vehicle, amongst the sockets and lever bars.

Many lights now claim COB LED units – brighter and more efficient, best to go for one of these units.

Branded units are normally £25 and up, but heres a selection for under a tenner each. To me, it just comes down to design style and there’s plenty to choose from. The quality of cheaper ones can be a bit hit and miss, but most of the time you will get a winner.

1. Numero Uno. This one looks very similar to a known branded unit. It has COB LEDs, can fold in half just before the lamp head for awkward access areas, has a magnetic rotatable base and adjustable brightness. Charging is via micro usb cable. Classic red or green colours available.
