Complaint
The key is not recognized in the electronic ignition switch, the vehicle cannot be started and/or the automatic transmission shifts to “Automatic P” at speeds below 6 km/h.
Cause
A combination of incorrect adhesive, height of the adhesive and height of the chip on the diodes of the “key inserted” detector in the electronic ignition switch (EZS) results in a transition resistance at the diodes of the key detector. The key is detected as “not inserted” and the “Automatic P function” is performed.

Replace electronic ignition switch. Before replacing, perform the guided test of the drive authorization system!
